| Irfan Chairs Privilege Committee meeting | | | SRINAGAR: A meeting of Committee on Privileges of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly was held under the Chairmanship of MLA, Mr. Mohammad Irfan Shah here today.
The Committee discussed and examined the breach of Privilege notice given by MLA Pahalgam, Mr. Rafi Ahmed Mir against the Director Health Kashmir.
Director Health Kashmir, Dr. Saleem-ur-Rehman briefed the Committee about the factual position and requested the Committee to drop the Privilege Notice leveled against him.
The Panel satisfied with the reply decided that the Committee will take decision in this regard in next meeting.
Legislators, Peer Afaq Ahmed, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Shah, Mr. Sham Lal Choudhary and Mr. Abdul Razak Wagay gave their valuable suggestions to make the functioning of the Committee viable and result oriented.
Among others, officers of Assembly Secretariat attended the meeting. |
