DODA: District Development Commissioner, Doda, Mubarak Singh, on Tuesday convened a meeting of education department to review the functioning of the department in the district.
Additional District Commissioner Doda, Chief Planning Officer Doda, Chief Education Officer Doda, ACD Doda besides Zonal Education Officers, principals, headmasters and other concerned officers were also present in the meeting.
Various issues were discussed in the meeting including, RMSA, physical status of buildings, distribution of scholarships, status of mid-day meals.
Expressing concern over slow pace of construction work on various school buildings, the DDC asked the concerned officers to expedite the work for its timely completion.
The DDC instructed all the officers of education and executing agencies to redouble their efforts to ensure the completion of the works in a stipulated period of time. He also asked the CEO to rationalize the posting of teachers in the district in order to ensure the benefit of Right to Education to people. |
