early times report
RAJOURI, June 28: A day long working committee meeting of District Rajouri BJP was held under the chairmanship of State General Secretary & District Prabhari for Rajouri, Bali Bhagat. District president Bharat Bhushan Vaid and District Seh-Prabhari Yogesh Gupta presided over this meeting.
It was attended by all the 66 district executive members, including 6 mandal presidents, district office bearers, Morcha presidents and senior leaders of the district. Threadbare discussions were held with the party activists for strengthening the organization at booth levels.
All the mandal and morcha presidents were directed to constitute their executive committees within a stipulated time. While addressing the party leaders and workers, Bali Bhagat took on the UPA Govt to task and charged the Congress party for maligning the image of country in the world community. Due to multi-crore scams done by the UPA ministers, India has been projected in the world as most corrupt country.
Bhagat alleged that UPA Govt has failed on political, diplomatic and other all fronts. He said that there are both internal and external threats to our country. There is a need for a clear roadmap for dealing with Maoists and separatists in Kashmir. The forces that want to weaken the country appear to have grown stronger. BJP leader said that in Kashmir, India had not been successful in defeating "Pakistan's attempts to make religious identity (of people) bigger than the Indian identity". UPA Govt has strengthened the forces which harp on separate identities. He said that India is facing major threats from Pakistan and China. Meanwhile, some prominent persons of Rajouri which include Rajinder Mehta, Anil Khullar, Subash Ved and Sham Sharma joined BJP.
