SRINAGAR: A meeting of House Committee (HC) of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Council constituted to look into alleged embezzlement of public money in the JAKFED from 1987 to 2000 was held under the Chairmanship of MLC, Mr. Khalid Najeeb Suharwardy here today.
The other members of the Committee including Mr. Naresh Kumar Gupta, Mr. Muzaffer Ahmed Parray and Mohammad Ashraf Mir attended the meeting and gave their suggestions to improve the functioning of the Committee.
The Committee expressed dissatisfaction over the non-submission of relevant records by the concerned JAKFED authorities and directed the submission of the same in its next meeting of the committee.
Deputy Secretary, besides, officers and officials of Council Secretariat were also attended the meeting. |
