UDHAMPUR: In its commitment and corporate social responsibility, SBI Udhampur distributed stationery and gift items among children of JAGRITI BAL ASHRAM on 58th State Bank day here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Manager, B.L Saini, said that education continues to be one of the focus areas of the Bank’s CSR activities. In pursuance of our Bank’s endeavor to improve infrastructure of government/municipal schools and to enhance the learning environment for the children, we had recently provided 1,48,000 fans to 14800 schools in April 2013. Interacting with the students, Saini advised the students to imbibe high values of truth and honesty in their dealings adding that they will have to work hard to find their place in the society and assured all possible help from Bank in their education so that no child feels deprived of getting proper education. The bank officials raised awareness regarding Bank's student deposit schemes among the students. The management and staff of Jagriti Bal Ashram thanked the Bank for this noble cause. |
