| Ashok Kumar Chairs Petition Committee members meeting | | | SRINAGAR : A meeting of the Committee on Petitions was held today under the Chairmanship of MLA, Mr. Ashok Kumar in the meeting hall of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly Secretariat.
The meeting was attended by the members of the Committee, Mr. Zahoor Ahmed Mir, Dr. Shafi Ahmed Wani, Mr. Durga Das, Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Shah and Mr. Abdul Razaq Wagay.
The meeting discussed threadbare the representation of inhabitants of village Authoora, Reshipora, Baramulla for transition of Gascharai land to Government Higher Secondary School Authoora and its compensation to be paid to concerned Panchayat Ghar.
The Committee members examined the representation made by the inhabitants of Authoora, Baramulla through Sarpanch Halka Authoora, for transferring of the land identify the residents of the said area (Authoora) to the Education Department for benefit of the students.
On the occasion the members put forth some valuable suggestions for transferring the said land for the betterment of the students under legal norms.
The meeting was attended by the officers and officials of the Assembly Secretariat. |
