JAMMU, Aug 24: Terming Omar Abdullah regime as non-performing liability, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) today regretted that the State of Jammu and Kashmir has been plunged into chaos, confusion and mess due to the misdeeds of this coalition government. Party observed that instead of addressing grievances of the common masses Chief Minister has been indulged into deceptive tactics to hoodwink the people. In a statement issued here today, spokesman of the party Rangil Singh joined issue with Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and pointed out that five year progress report of coalition government depicting very glooming picture because situation in the state was going back to pre-2002 period. "Achievements of Omar Abdullah government appears only on papers", he said and added that five years performance of this government was Big Zero. He said that Omar Abdullah led government has dashed all hopes of the people of Jammu and Kashmir and common masses were feeling cheated and betrayed by this regime. Singh ridiculed claims made by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in his recent rallies and observed that all these claims of peace and development were hallow. He said that present government has rather derailed the process of peace and development in J&K. PDP spokesman said that the present regime has systematically dismantled all such institutions just to keep powers at the hand of some persons. He said plagued by ineptitude, disorder and corruption, the political structure of the present coalition government has completely collapsed resulting in the paralysis of the state's administrative structure as well. "And it is a pity that the Chief Minister instead of improving his performance is busy blaming everybody except his own ways for putting the state and its people into this quagmire," he said.
