| ABVP launches membership drive | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Aug 24: Country's oldest and largest Student organization Akhil Bhartya Vidhayarthi Parishad (ABVP) has started its membership drive in Govt Degree College at Kathua here today. The membership drive was launched with an objective to strengthen the ABVP across the country and to attain it goals to work for the welfare of student community of the state as well as country. The membership drive was launched under the supervision of senior most activist Rahul Dev Sharma. While speaking on the occasion, Rahul said that ABVP through this drive spread message of ABVP to each and every student of Jammu and Kashmir from 9th to higher studies as well as teachers that they can become member of ABVP. He further said that by joining ABVP students can do work for welfare of student community and also appealed to the student community to join ABVP in national interest. On the occasion large number of students have joined the ABVP and said that it is the organization which works for the welfare of student community due to which we have been convinced and motivated with ABVP and joined. Newly joined girls students also showed their interest to work for the welfare of girl students who feel insecure in the premises of the Govt. Degree College Kathua. They demanded that outsider's entry should be banned in the premises of the college in honor of security point of view. |
