| Bhim urges Vohra to dismiss Omar Government | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 24: The National Panthers Party (NPP) leader, Professor Bhim Singh has urged the Governor, NN Vohra to dismiss the Omar led government.
Bhim in his letter said the recent development has revealed that Omar Abdullah had allowed Pakistani nationals involved in terrorist activities in J&K to enter the State via Nepal and indulged in activities which are highly prejudicial to the security of the State.
He has quoted the latest development that Omar Abdullah allowed several Pakistani nationals designated as 'surrendered militants' to enter the Indian Territory via Nepal in violation of International Laws and the Rules under the pretext of the so-called 'Surrender & Rehabilitation Policy'. This policy also didn't allow any Pak-national to enter India via Nepal. The Chief Minister had admitted on the floors of the State Assembly that 243 Pak-nationals had entered J&K who crossed over to Nepal from Pakistan.
Omar Abdullah had deployed J&K Police on the Indo-Nepal borders to facilitate the entry of the terrorists coming from Pakistan to Nepal.
A national newspaper namely, 'The Indian Express' has revealed in its front page story that "At least three surrendered militants who returned to the Valley last year via Nepal have gone back to Pakistan by the same route over the past one month."
NPP Supremo in his letter to the J&K Governor has pointed out that the terrorists deployed by ISI have been working to restore their lost contacts with the militants in J&K. The so-called 'Surrender & Rehabilitation Policy' has been challenged by the Panthers Party in the Supreme Court as well.
The latest development vis-à-vis the so-called 'Surrender & Rehabilitation Policy' is being used by the ISI to implement its agenda of sabotage and violence in the Valley. This is not only surprising but highly intriguing that the entire State even peaceful places like Gool and Kishtwar have been inflamed in communal divide by the J&K Government headed by Mr. Omar Abdullah.
The NPP Chief Patron has demanded dismissal of Omar Govt. and imposition of Governor Rule for a short period to regroup the demoralized administration and activate the nationalist and secular forces in the State. |
