Srinagar, Aug 24: As part of "Operation Sadhbhavana" the Pharkiyan Brigade of Vajr Division of Indian Army flagged-off a National Integration tour to Pharkiyan, Srinagar, Jammu, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Jaipur, Ajmer Sharif.
As per press release, the initiative was taken by Indian Army aiming to provide adequate exposure to the elders of Kashmir Valley and introduce them to the diversity and rich socio-cultural heritage of our nation. "To gain an all round exposure, the members during the conduct of the tour visited places of military, historical interests. While at Jaipur, the tour will visit City Palace, Hawa Mahal and Amer Fort, Dargah of Hazrat Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and other places of tourist interest", they said. |
