| Jan expresses gratitude to CM for quick flood relief | | | Early Times Report
POONCH, Aug 24: Expressing gratitude Chief Minister for release of funds to the flood affected people of Poonch, Member Legislative Assembly Poonch Ajaz Ahmed Jan has said that Chief Minister has once again shown seriousness towards public suffering and has released sufficient funds for the people.
Addressing a series of gathering in Alah Peer, Imam Bargah, Radio Station Mohala and Banpat area in Poonch, MLA said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah along with his team of ministers visited Poonch on Friday and after accessing the flood situation has released sufficient funds on the same day in the cabinet meeting which reflect the seriousness of the CM regarding loss suffered by the people of flood affected areas.
Meanwhile, MLA along with District officers and engineers of Public Health Engineering and Block president Bagh Hussain Rathore Peer Anyat Distt. Sect. visited city areas of Mohalla Alah Peer where he installed a water filter, Anwar Ul Uloom Water Cooler which was demand of the local public. He also fulfilled the demand of locals of Imam Bargah where a water Cooler was given for the benefit of people. In Radio Station Mohalla MLA announced Rs 3 lakh funds from Constituency Development Fund for construction of Bridal Path in the area. One water cooler was also given in Police Line Mohalla. Jan also visited Banpat area where he released Rs 8 lakh for the development of the village. During his visit to the area various political activists joined National Conference and appreciated the work of Chief Minister for the welfare of people. He also met with the intellectual people in Dak Banglow Poonch and in various mohallas and appreciated their efforts in maintaining peace and tranquility. |
