| DODA, Aug 24: The District Administration today selected 148 candidates for receiving loan assistance under Jammu and Kashmir Self Employment Scheme (JKSES) after conducting interviews of applicants here at District Employment and Counseling Centre. District Development Commissioner (DDC), Mubarak Singh chaired the interview along with other members of the interview committee comprising of Deputy Director Employment, Lead Bank Officer, Branch Manager J&K Bank, General Manager DIC Doda and District Social Welfare Officer. A total of 229 candidates had applied for the loan assistance out of which 170 candidates were interviewed, while 148 candidates were selected by the committee for loan assistance. Among the total selected candidates, 128 would get loan assistance for retail trade and 20 for joint ventures. Interacting with the candidates, the DDC impressed upon them to make best use of the assistance being provided to them and work hard to establish their ventures. |
