EPTWS raise voice against Custodian
8/24/2013 11:17:53 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, Aug 24: EP Tenants Welfare Society' (EPTWS) President Inder Mohinder Tar Singh urged upon the Chief Minister Omar Abullah to intervene personally to check that the present custodian may not get further extension as after his retirement he was re-employed and then given extension which is against the judicial judgments. Tar Singh said we strongly appeal that that Chief Minister should bring suitable, honest Custodian so that the tenants are not tortured further anymore. If there is no suitable candidate within the department then the next Custodian should be from administrative services which had been the routine earlier. Also the next Custodian should be from Jammu Province so that the same may understand our problems in a better way urged Tar Singh. Further, EPTWSR dissolved the nominated Mohalla and Ward committees keeping in view the forthcoming elections so that the same could be held freely, fairly and fearlessly. They requested the District Units that to submit the membership forms to Satpal Saini General Secretary so that the elections of the society could be held soon.
