JAMMU, Aug 24: In order to make legal services accessible even to the most deprived persons, the District Legal Services Authority (Pr. District & Sessions Judge Jammu) organized various awareness camps for women and children in need of care and protection with the help of NGO.
A team of advocates, Para Legal Volunteers and staff of District Legal Services Authority Jammu visited SOS Home, Gole Gujral, Neha Ghar and Home for Old Age and also identified women and destitutes who require assistance for overcoming social backwardness.
Legal awareness programme on protection of women from Domestic Violence was conducted in panchayat Ghar, Gole Gujral-Jammu.
An awareness camp relating to working women in organized and unorganized sector was also organized in Skill Development Training Centre, Cutting & Tailoring sponsored by JUDA Government of India in New Plot Jammu.
