| Ex MP's brother gets bail, police calls Ex MP for questioning | | | Early times Report Jammu, Dec 11: Brother of former Member Parliament (MP), who was remanded Tuesday for seven days to Trikuta Nagar Police, today managed bail, while police called former MP for investigation in snatching of a truck loaded with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) from Narwal yard in 2004. Udham Singh Bajwa, who was wanted in a case under FIR no. 30/2004 lodged in Trikuta Nagar Police station was arrested by police on Monday. Police granted seven days police remand of Udham Singh Bajwa on Tuesday and today he managed his bail. Sources said that in the year 2004, a finance company at Narwal yard seized a truck belonging to Bajwa brothers, loaded with Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), for not giving installments to the finance company. Police sources said that later, the duo-Bajwa brothers along with Personal Security Officers (PSOs) went to the finance company and allegedly assaulted the officials there and escaped with the loaded truck. Police sources also claimed that during investigation, it also came to fore that the missing truck is in Guwahati and police called former MP TS Bajwa for questioning. However, he had not gone to the police station when last reports came in. Police sources further claimed that if TS Bajwa failed to mark his presence in the police station, police may seek action against him and he can be arrested.
