| PS& ETTIA (P) terms decision on 'Right to Education' a hasty one | | | Jammu, Dec 11: Referring to fresh announcement in context of an early ordinance on 'Right to Education', the president Jammu Pvt. Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive) - PS& ETTIA (P), Deep Singh termed it merely a show of promptness by the state government while leaving aside the existing unlimited wrongs in the sensitive field of education. "Gravity of the subject certainly needs debates and seminars based meaningful exercise over the issue but ruling politicians seem just focused on its early finish in view of coming elections which will be unfair," he alleged. President PS& ETTIA (P) urged it would have been counted in the performance of state government if some promptness had been shown in corrections of unlimited wrongs in the field of education before going for "Right to Education. "Government sponsored schools despite qualified & salaried teachers failed to perform up to the satisfactory mark while private sector despite a significant contribution are facing the worst since long, Association leader alleged.
He urged the government for early corrections on different subjects of sensitive education field before going for ordinance on "Right to Education'. |
