Bhim hails SC verdict on homosexuality 12/11/2013 9:48:07 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 11: Prof. Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of NPP and Sr. Executive Member of the Supreme Court of India has welcomed the historic verdict of the Supreme Court on the fate of Section 377 of the Indian Penal Code holding that homosexuality shall continue as an offence within the meaning and scope of Indian Penal Code thus quashing the judgment of Delhi High Court. Prof. Bhim Singh who is Chairman of the State Legal Aid Committee described the judgment as highly scientific concurring with the highly valuable cultural and moral identity of India which is recognized by 2/3rd population of the world.
