AGHORE, Dec 11: In continuation of its pursuit to enhance agricultural credit, Punjab National Bank held Kissan Credit Card distribution function at Aghore. The function was inaugurated by Harnek Singh, Assistant General Manager, Circle Office Jammu. 29 KCC involving a credit outlay of 25 lakhs were distributed to the farmers from Sarote, Jandial, Ranjan, Aghore villages in the function. Speaking on the occasion, Harnek Singh said that KCC will be provided to all the eligible farmers in the state as the scheme is beneficial for the farmers in boosting their agriculture activities and helps them in meeting timely short term credit requirements for pre and post cultivation activities. He urged the farmers to utilize the credit judiciously and repay the loan within the tenure for the success of the scheme. S S Chib, District Coordinator PNB said that the bank is committed to reach every unbanked corner of the state by providing Kissan Credit Cards and other agro-based financial products to the farmers of the state. He urged the farmers to avail the maximum benefits of the KCC scheme. Ramesh Kohli, Manager Aghore, Rakesh Kumar Bhagat, Manager Agriculture of the bank and large number of beneficiaries and staff members of the Bank were present at the function. |
