Jammu, Jan 6: Burglars have their day and they decamped with valuables worth Rs 6 lakh after striking in posh locality of Channi Himmat Sector-3, here on Monday.
As per police sources, the theft took place at the residence of one Chander Prakesh Goel when he along with his family has gone out of state to attend some family function in Punjab.
Quoting complainant, police sources said, "He (Mr Goel), in his report, had alleged that his house was locked but some burglars struck and decamped with property worth Rs 6 lakh including Rs 20 lakh cash."
Meanwhile Police after registering a case in this connection have started investigating in this regard. |
