Residents of SC Basti take out protest against PDD 1/6/2014 11:18:58 PM Early Times Report Kathua, Jan 6: Scores of residents of Schedule Caste Basti today took out a protest against the Power Development Department (PDD) over unscheduled power cuts in the Basti at Govindsar kathua here today. The protestors were led by the social worker Shashi Paul Sharma who criticized the PDD over unscheduled power curtailment and complete blackout in the the SC Basti for the last over one month. Residents of the Basti assembled near Railway road Govindsar and raised slogans against the state government and the PDD for their failure in ensuring regular power supply to the people.
