Jammu, Feb 16 : A just day after a head constable of traffic department was crushed to death by a truck, another cop today received injuries when he was hi b an unidentified Tavera vehicle at Sidhra area. The victim has been identified as Dalip Singh, IRP 14 battlion, son of Rashpal Singh, resident of Akalpur. Police sources said that Dalip was posted on special duty at Sidhra area and today while he was on duty he was hit by an unidentified tavera resulting injuries to him.
Later, the injured was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H) for treatment. Police said that a case in this connection has been registered an d investigation has been launched to ascertain the identity of the tavera driver. |
