Jammu, Feb 16 : Family of a pregnant woman claimed that due to alleged negligence of doctor their baby lost his life in the womb. However, the hospital administration denied the allegations.
The husband of the lady, Omkar Singh, who hails from Nud in Samba, narrated that her wife (Madhu) was admitted in District Hospital Samba, from where the doctors referred them to Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar for immediate scissorian delivery, in view of some complications.
"The delay caused in the Gandhi Nagar Hospital claimed life of their baby in the womb," alleged Omkar.
When contacted Medical Superintendent Gandhi Nagar Hospital, Dr Romesh Gupta he said that he will hold an inquiry in this incident if the aggrieved family lodge written complaint in this regard.
