Early Times Report KULGAM, Apr 16: Police on Wednesday booked four National Conference workers including two brothers for targeting People's Democratic Party campaign vehicle in South Kashmir's Qazigund town. Vehicle with registration number (JK18-5466) fitted with public address system was on election campaign when the four arrested persons pelted stones on it, damaging its windowpanes. The vehicle was on way from Lamad Qazigund to Aarward hamlet, when the culprits attacked the vehicle with stones causing damage to it and injuring on board PDP activists. A police official confirmed the reports saying "We took cognizance of the complaint filed by People's Democratic Party workers and lodged an FIR vide number 66/2014 under section 341, 427, 336 of RPC against the four culprits," the official said. He said that all the accused persons involved in the crime belonging to National conference were arrested. Police have identified the four NC workers as Mohammad Iqbal Kulay son of Mohammad Yousuf, Master Miralam son of Lal Deen, Mohammad Ashraf Kulay, Mohammad Aslam Kulay sons of Mohammad Baqa. |
