Jammu, June 8 : All India Kashmiri Samaj (AIKS) has urged Union government to involve the Kashmiri Pandits and consider the proposals made by Joint Parliamentary Committee in its 179th report, while preparing the road map for return of Kashmiri Pandits (KPs). While addressing media persons here today general secretary of AIKS, Dr. Romesh Raina thanked Prime Minister Narinder Modi for according priority to the sensitive issue, which was treated in a almost callous manner. "There is an imperative need for political rehabilitation through constitutional means, which will enable us a long term survival in our homes of origin in valley", he said, adding that Kashmiri policy would have a new look, which would encompass all those areas that have remained unattended so far viz-a-viz change of names of important places like Shankrachahraya to Takht-e-Suleiman, Hari Parbat to Kohi Maran and so on. |
