| Kundal dedicates multipurpose hall, lane to people | | | | Jammu, June 11: B R Kundal MLC today dedicated a newly constructed multipurpose hall to the people of Drawatian, in Panchayat Gagian of R S Pura and a lane/drain in same village which were constructed out of his constituency funds. The two projects were constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 10 lakhs and 2.50 lakhs respectively and today were formally handed over the community. Pertinent to mention here that land of the multipurpose hall was provided by the Mandir (Temple) Committee adjacent to the existing temple and the said hall besides servicing the temple shall also be used for other religious & marriage functions. Earlier residents of area gave a rousing welcome to B R Kundal on his arrival and also expressed gratitude to him for getting said works completed. Sarpanch Janak Raj, Sarpanch Bahadur, Sarpanch Om Parkash, Sarpanch Vinod, Rtd. Capt. Gurdass, Lamberdar & Panches of the Panchayat concerned were also present on this inaugural occasion . |
