Court denies bail in attempt to rape case

JAMMU, Jun 11 (JNF): Special Excise Mobile Magistrate Jammu Amarjeet Singh Langeh rejected the bail application of one Vishal Charak who was arrested by the Sarwal police in FIR NO 41/2014 for the offences u/s 366/376/511 RPC.
While rejecting the bail application, Special Excise Mobile Magistrate Jammu Amarjeet Singh Langeh observed that on the examination of police report it indicates that on May 15, 2014 complainant in the case who happens to be mother of the prosecutrix lodged a written complaint concerned to the effect that accused not only assaulted prosecutrix but also kidnapped and it was also alleged in the complaint that accused attempted to commit rape on her prosecutrix.
Special Excise Mobile Magistrate Jammu Amarjeet Singh Langeh after hearing Senior PO Rajeshwar Basotra appearing for the state observed that the offences of abduction and rape with woman are grave and heinous in nature needs no reiteration. With these observations Court rejected the bail application of the accused.
