Gang rape accused sent to six day's police custody

Kishtwar, June 11: Judicial Magistrate 1st Class (JMIC ) Kishtwar Syed Adnan today sent the two accused allegedly involved in gang rape of minor 5th class student in Drabshala Kishtwar to six days police custody.
As per the details, police party produced the two accused namely Sudesh Kumar Baghat s/o Karan Singh of Shandari Drabshala and Nitin Chand s/o Saroop Chand of village Gujjar Khotan Drabshala in the court of JMIC Kishtwar seeking 10 days police custody of duo allegedly involved in gang rape of a minor.
"After going through the case details, JMIC Kishtwar sent both the accused in police custody till 16th of this month. The court also directed to conduct regular medical checkup of both the accused after every 48 hours. Pertinent to mention here that accused allegedly have committed the rape upon minor girl on 9th of this month which later sparked massive protest in Drabshala Kishtwar beside invites condemnation from politicians, social activities and people throughout the state.
