Ex-Servicemen hail President's address

Jammu, June 12: Ex-Servicemen hailed the President's address to the Parliament for showing concerns about the retired army men.
As per press release, they welcomed the issues which were put on agenda by the new center government including one Rank One Pension, construction of National War Memorial, establishment of Coastal Authority, Zero tolerance against Terrorism, Good relations with neighbours with self respect etc with the commitment 'Everything will be done for the Soldiers'.
The members felt it was like a whiff of fresh air and are upbeat with high morale. The Ex-Servicemen are assured that their cases will be taken up with the Govt. and hopefully the State Govt. will also follow the Central Govt. in this regard.
The President of the J&K EX-Services League Maj Gen Goverdhan Singh Jamwal thanked the Ex-Servicemen present for their inputs and informed them about the good news that Indian Institute of Integrative Medicine (IIIM) Jammu has offered a unique programme to the Ex-Servicemen in Herbal Farming for which a Seminar is being organized on 19 & 20 June 2014 at IIIM.
