Jammu, June 12: Seven pilgrims received injuries today when a tempo carrying them rolled down at Dandal area failing under the jurisdiction of Jajjhar Kotli police station. "The incident took place today evening when a tempo carrying Delhi based pilgrims was on its way to Sudh Mahadev while reaching near Dandal area, the driver lost control over the vehicle resulting injuries to seven persons, police sources said. Sources said, "The injured have been identified as Renu Grover (45) w/o Parveen Grover, Tani Sardana (40) w/o Late Sanjay and their daughter Kanika (16), Ayush (11) s/o Sunil Kumar, Aman (11) s/o Kamal Arora and Parveen Grover (50) s/o Hari Chand, all residents of Rohini Delhi." "After getting the information police reached the spot and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC &H) for treatment, they said. Meanwhile the concerned Police have registered a case in this regard and have started investigation in this matter. |
