| 'Blood donation camp' organized at Gandhi Nagar Hospital | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, June 14: A blood donation camp was organized at Government Hospital Gandhi Nagar here today to create awareness among people about volunteer blood donation.
The said camp was inaugurated by Dr Gurjeet Singh, Dy Director Health Services (Hqrs) Jammu in presence of Dr Romesh Gupta Medical Superintendent and other staff members.
In his inaugural address Dr Gurjeet Singh appealed to the volunteers between the age group of 18 to 60 years to come forward and donate the blood for saving the precious lives. Dr Singh also informed that gathering that the theme of 2014- Blood Donors Day is "Safe Blood for Saving Mothers".
The students, staff members and the relations of staff members donated the blood with great enthusiasm. |
