Three held, bid to rob passenger taxi foiled 7/29/2014 12:09:59 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 28: Police today arrested three persons who allegedly were trying to rob a taxi at Manda area falling under jurisdiction of Pacca Danga Police Station and recovered a sharp-edged weapon from their possession. "Arrested have been identified as Ravi, Sunny both residents of Dogra Hall, Pummy of Bhagwati Nagar, police sources said. Police sources said that the trio tried to loot a Xylo car bearing regd no JKO1Q-2720 which was on way to Srinagar from Jammu at Manda area, last night at around 1:00 am. "The trio riding on two motorcycles bearing regd nos JKO2AB-02264 and JKO2BD-2826 at Manda intercepted a Xylo car and smashed its window", police sources said further adding, "after getting information police party swung led by Inspector Daljeet Singh, SHO Pacca Danga immediately rushed to spot and arrested them while making a bid to rob occupants of car."
