| Traffic awareness programme organized | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, July 31: KC Gurukul Public School Paloura today organized traffic awareness programme in the school premises.
The function was organized in collaboration with Regional Transport Office Jammu for promoting the effective awareness of Traffic problems of Jammu City. Arvind Kotwal RTO Jammu was the chief guest of the function. While as Arvind Mahajan Chairman KC Gurukul Public School was the Guest of eminent Honour. Kuldeep Singh ARTO Jammu was also Guest of Honour on this occasion. Earlier the function started with the lighting of traditional lamp. Vijay Puri Academic Director of KC Gurukul Schools presented the formal welcome note on the occasion. The spotlight of the programme was Traffic Violations of various offences and their necessary measures that can be curbed by educating the young aged children of the school. Students are further warned not to drive for the cause of thrill from high speed driving, not to disobey traffic rules, avoid cell phones during driving. Suniel Cannie Motor Vehicle Inspector Coordinated Slide Show which was truly important and educative. A short cultural programme was also presented by the students of the school on this occasion. The Chief Guest in his opening speech said India is leading in the road accidents which is a very very unfortunate part of us. |
