KVS Regional chess meet gets underway 8/19/2014 10:34:06 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 19: The 45th Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Regional sports meet in the disciplines of Skating and Chess in under-17 and under-19 year got underway here today. The event was declared open by Deputy Commissioner, KVS Jammu Region, AVLJ Rao at KV-1 Gandhi Nagar here in a well attended function. Around 190 students and 31 teachers from Kendriya Vidyalayas of Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and J&K are participating in this meet. Earlier, Principal of the host school, TR Choudhary welcomed the participating teams and their escorting teachers.
