Jammu, Aug 19: A meeting of Jammu Province Peoples' Forum (JPPF) today held under the chairmanship of Session Judge (retired) Pavitar Singh president of Forum, seriously viewed the ongoing problems, which have grappled the Jammuites and urged the administration to immediately find a solution to end the pangs. While addressing the meeting, he said that administration is somehow trying to create the problems for the people of Jammu especially the traders of Jammu who hold the economy of the Jammu city. He said that Jammu based traders are in morass over the shifting of Inter State Bus Terminal from General Bus Stand, Jammu to other part, which is a rubbish proposal of the administration and should be immediately revoked according to the people of Jammu. He said that shifting of ISBT from General Bus Stand, Jammu is totally against the people and traders and should be immediately put on right track. He especially urged the Divisional Commissioner, Jammu, who is also chairman of High Power Regulating Traffic Committee, to immediately intervene in this matter to end the chaos and panic among the traders fraternity. Mentioning about the economic crisis being faced by the Jammu traders, he said that Jammu traders are already facing huge financial crisis for last so many years and now they need immediate remedial measures to improve their financial positions. |
