JAMMU, Aug 20: During the visit of Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani to Jammu the BJP workers were keen on clicking pictures with her than discussing poll strategy.
Ironically, Irani arrived here to address 'karyakarta sammelan' had to spare extra time from her busy schedule to pose for photographs with the over enthusiastic party workers and supporters than discussing the election strategy seriously.
Inside reports also claimed that unhappy with the poll preparedness Irani is learnt to have pulled the party functionaries as they failed to respond to her queries.
A look at the Facebook pages of BJP workers and upcoming leaders clearly indicate a pattern that Smriti Irani was much more in demand in front of the camera than behind close door meetings where she reportedly pulled the strings and directed the state machinery to pull up their socks if they wished to run the campaign to fulfill Mission 44 plus in the coming Assembly polls. |
