SRINAGAR, Aug 23: Vigilance Organization Kashmir (VOK) today caught an Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) red handed while demanding and accepting bribe.
According to sources, an ASI Mohammad Ramzan Mir No. 895/S posted at Police Station Zahkoora while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs1500 from the complainant namely Rafiq Ahmad Pahloo son of Ab. Aziz of Bagwanpora, Barbarshah Srinagar in connection with deleting some offences in case FIR No. 37/2014 of P/S Zakoora registered against the complainant.
Further investigation into the case was in progress. |
