| Hindi Diwas celebrated at Northern Command | | | Udhampur, Sept 15: Northern Command celebrated Hindi Diwas on Monday at its Head Quarter Udhampur. According to defense spokesman, during Hindi Pakhwara, competitions such as Hindi Noting and Drafting, Hindi Essay, Hindi Typing through Computer were conducted in which all the units and establishments in the station participated.
Col Satyaveer Singh, Colonel (Education) and Chairman Official Language Committee HQ Northern Command has also emphasized the audience about the importance of the official language in day to day work through official correspondence in the offices of HQ Northern Command.
He also emphasized the place of Hindi in the Indian constitution and expected that all must contribute in promotion of our National Language in right spirit, especially in the Armed Forces where multi-lingual people join and perform their job together in a common language Hindi.
DS Rauthan, Assistant Director (OL) and Secretary Official Language Implementation Committee HQ Northern Command congratulated all the prize winners and thanked Chief Guest, Officers and the present in the ceremony. |
