| Deputation calls on DDC Jammu | | | | Jammu, Sept 18: A deputation led by Inder Mohinder Tar Singh Chairman, Council For Civil Liberties (CCL) met Deputy Commissioner, Jammu to apprise him of the non-payment of any compensation to the victim families from villages under Dansal Block whose houses were badly damaged during heavy storms and rains during natural calamities of July-August 2013. The victimized family members from several villages of the aforesaid block were also present. As per the press note, during the deliberations Tar Singh said that it is unfortunate that the administration paid no heed to the victim families. Their houses are badly damaged and despite of all the formalities done by them and the local police stations and administration the compensation is not yet paid to the respective families. |
