Congress discusses party activities in newly created Tehsil Nagri

Kathua, Sept 22: Congress workers held their meeting at Nagri Town on Sunday under the leadership of Advocate AjatShatru Sharma LYC General Secretary and former District President Youth Congress Kathua in which a large number of party workers participated and deliberated upon the activities of Youth Congress in the newly created Tehsil Nagri of District Kathua.
While speaking on the occasion Ajat Shatru Sharma congratulated the people of Nagri and adjoining villages for getting a Tehsil status and accredited party for the same saying it was Congress which convinced the Cabinet Sub Committee to full fill the long pending genuine demands of the people of the area. He impressed upon the youth to come forward and play their respective role in development of the country by taking part in constructive Politics. Ajat Shatru Sharma, an expectant of party candidate from Kathua in the coming assembly elections, assured the youth that congress will fight their battle in solving their all genuine problems being faced by them. He appealed to the people to strengthen the hands of congress as the Congress is the only political party which can best redress the problems of the common man and well maintain secular fabric of the country.
Senior Congress leader and Ex-President Municipal Committee Nagri Kulbhushan Kumar in his address launched a scathing attack on the BJP and said, "Modi Govt has miserably failed to fulfill their promises in their four months rule and only taking the credit of projects that has been started by the UPA govt. He also appealed the people to beware of pseudo secular & communal forces which divide the people on the basis of race, caste, sex & religion etc.
Among others who spoke on the occasion included Sr Congress Leader Dr Sharat Sharma, Youth Congress leaders Jeevan Jyoti, Romesh Chander, Raman Sharma, Vishal Verma, Ganesh Salotra, Sahil Sharma, Man Singh and others.
