Poonch, Sept 22 : There is strong resentment against Education Department here over the appointment of newly selected general line teachers against the vacancies of ReT (Rehbar-e-Taleem) teachers.
A total of 395 teachers were selected by SSRB in the recent past by the Education Department. Of them, 59 have so far filed their joining report with the office of Poonch Chief Education Officer (CEO) Abdul Hamid Fani.
Fani is further alleged to be posting them against the ReT vacancies in government schools of Poonch, Mandi, Surankote and Mendhar against the government norms.
During his recent visited to Mendhar, a deputation of unemployed youth of the area had called on Poonch deputy commissioner M H Malik and expressed their anguish over the posting of general line teachers against the posts of ReT teachers. Showing his concern over the alleged issue, Malik had asked deputy CEO, Mendhar, Mohammad Alam Choudhary to produce all the official record in his office for scrutiny. |
