| 16 injured in two seprate road mishaps in Samba | | | Early Times Report
Samba, Sept 29: Atleast 16 persons including 14 members of a marriage party sustained injuries in two road accidents which took place in last 24 hours in district Samba, police sources said.
Police sources said that a mini bus turned turtle late last night in which 14 persons were reportedly injured. The incident took place when a "marriage party from Dabar Deoli to Nanga were returning to their village Deoli and met with an accident at the Chak Gudwal at Ramgarh road. On receiving this information the police team along with the SHO Ramgarh reached the spot and shifted injured to SDH Ramgarh for medical aid.
The injured are identified namely as Prinka(18) d/o Rattan Lal of Chohala, Sita Devi (42) w/o Rattan Lal, Amandeep (4) s/o Shubhsh, Sachin (13) s/o Tarsem Lal, Tarsem Lal (44) s/o Shaillo Ram of Deoli, Shiv Dev s/o Juma Ram, Shamasher(60) s/o Bhulla Ram, Bachan Lal (45) s/o Juma Ram of Talarh, Parkasho Devi(45) w/o Tarsem Lal, Kewal Singh (35) of Khour Pouian, Tilak Raj s/o Inder Ram, Raj Kumar (32) s/o Shiv Ram of R S Pura and Urmila Kumari d/o Sikander Kumar of Mira Sahib. Police have registered a case in this regard.
Meanwhile in another road mishap on National Highway near Vijaypur a motor cycle hit an unidentified vehicle early this morning. "The motorcycle bearing regd no JKO2X-6703 was hit by an unidentified vehicle and left the two riders who happens to be real brothers injured on the spot, police said, adding, "the injured were immediately shifted to nearby Vijaypur hospital from where doctors referred the injured duo to GMC Jammu for advanced treatment owing to their critical condition. The injured have been identified namely as Sanjeev Kumar (32) and Sheetal Kumar (28) Ss/O Sidhu Ram of Rattanpur. |
