| PDP holds series of meetings in Vijaypur | | | Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Sept 29: In a bid to garner support for the party, PDP organized meetings under the leadership of senior party leaders and ex MLA Shanti Devi who is heading women cell and contesting candidate of Vijaypur Constituency Harmesh Singh Slathia.
Both PDP leaders convened a series of meetings in different wards of Bari Brahmna Telli Basti and other areas. During their visit the delegations of locals apprised the PDP leaders regarding the loss caused to them due to the flood and also told them that the administration yet has not provided them any type of relief/help which was sponsored by the Central Government.
Locals also alleged the coalition government is focused only on Srinagar and is ignoring the Jammu region.
Slathia assured the people that their demands shall be put up before the authorities for shall try to redressal the same at an earliest.
He appealed the people to come forward and join the PDP as the future government in the J&K shall be framed by the PDP and said that the PDP is the only party that can come up to the expectations of people of the state and deliver the equity in all the three regions of state.
Senior party leaders namely Sat Paul, Ch Rashid Malik, District President, Saleem Choudhary, State Coordinator Jatinder Butt Senior Lieder Pareetam Singh. A large number of women folk under the Naseema Biwi joined PDP and exuded faith in party leadership. |
