Salah-ud-Din's ceasefire promise proves a hoax | Militant attacks continue across Kashmir | | Early Times Report SRINAGAR, Oct 16: The much hyped ceasefire claims and help of militants to flood hit Kashmiris by Chairman of United Jihad Council (UJC) Syed Salah-ud-Din is proving a hoax as militants continue attacks on security forces in Kashmir, adding to the worries of the common masses. Syed Salah-ud-Din on September 24, 2014 announced that' the militants operating in Kashmir would not carry out attacks on security forces and engage themselves in helping flood hit Kahsmiries till further orders' However, the militants continued their attacks on security forces, attempted infiltration as well, thereby instead of helping the victims they only added worries for them. Militants last week carried out an attack on security forces in Kupwara district and killed a soldier . Several others sustained injuries in the attack. Today around three soldiers were wounded when an IED went off in Baramulla district. Pertinent to mention that amid tall claims of UJC Chief, Such Militants attacks are in addition to the attempts of around 2000 militants on Line of control (LOC) to sneak inside Indian territory amid the ongoing shelling on borders. |
