Mananu GMS without headmaster Neglect of Education department 10/29/2014 11:52:17 PM Shiv Dev Thakur Jammu, Oct 29: Children studying in Govt. Middle School of village Mananu in district Samba are unable to get proper education as the education department has failed to fulfill the coveted post of Headmaster. Reliable sources told Early Times that the negligent behavior of education department is seen as a reason for the falling standards in the government run schools. Reports suggest that there are only 4 teachers in Mananu school for 120 students. Reports added that the school is functioning without headmaster for the past ten months. A primary school in a nearby village, Palth is also facing similar problems. Two teachers, reports said, have to handle fifty students. Additional Secretary Education department when contacted said , " I will personally check the matter and find out the reasons behind the non appointment of eligible person against the post of Headmaster". He further added that he will take necessary action in this regard.
