| DC, SP Kishtwar visit Warwan; take stock of basic services, poll preparedness | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Oct 30: In order to reach out to the people of far flung and inaccessible areas of Warwan to take stock of availability of essential services and poll preparedness, the District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mohammad Javed Khan accompanied by S P Kishtwar Yougal Manhas today visited this remote area through IAF chopper.
During the course of the visit, DC Kishtwar held meetings with general public and government officials to review the functioning of government machinery. The public of the area highlighted various problems being faced by them which included the shortage of ration and medical supplies in these areas, poor road conditions, shortage of teaching staff in schools and other problems.
Addressing the people, DC Kishtwar said that administration is fully aware of difficulties of people living in these inaccessible areas and provision of essential services and supplies is the first priority of the administration.
He issued on spot instructions to the official present there regarding the problems and issues of people and directed them to immediately make available required ration to the people.
He also took stock of healthcare facilities and asked the concerned officials to ensure supply of medicines and medical staff in the area. He also issued clear cut directions to improve the condition of Warwan-Marwah road and ensure the attendance of government employees strictly. |
