Kishtwar, Dec 20: A seminar on "National Integration" in Govt Degree College Doda under Civic Action Programme (CAP) 2014-15 was organized by District Police Doda.
According to spokesperson, students from Govt Degree College (GDC) Doda participated in the seminar and debate competition was held among the student on the topic.
A panel of judges declared Gazi Abdullah, Jafer Hussain and Ms Musarat as first three top rankers respectively and were awarded with cash prizes of worth Rs 1000/-, 700/- and 500/- respectively alongwith certificates of participation.
"The prizes and certificates were jointly awarded by Chief Guest, Prof ZA Hashmi, Principle Govt. Degree College, Doda and Mohd Sharief Chouhan, SSP Doda representing the host organization in presence of senior Police officers / staff of Degree College. Earlier SSP Doda presented a memento to the Principal Govt Degree College Dodaas a token of regards.
In his address SSP Doda Mohd Sharief Chouhan exhorted upon student to work hard on their academics but also rising above differences of caste, language, religion and dedicatedly work together with goodwill for all.
