| Nukkad play "Paani Ka Mool" staged | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan10 : Lalded Women Welfare Society Jammu staged a nukkad play "Panni Ka Mool" at Digiana Park Jammu, in which burning problem of pure supply of water / its misuse / carelessness of consumers / non seriousness of concerned / suggestions thereof, were highlighted for water seekers / needy etc by its artists.
The play is written by Rampaul & Directed by Naveen Pal. Ramu is busy in washing his scooter and stray dog by holding a plastic pipe with fresh drinking water in the morning and his own overhead tank at the rooftop is overflowing with direct motor fitted connection. He sings a song loudly with joy. He is also using drinking water to his kitchen garden daily. His friend & neighbor 'Nattu', raised objection that you are misusing drinking water and if you do not do like this, then maximum amount of water could have been used by others to quench their thrust. but he replied, I am paying the water bill & I am not a fraud man. So it my right to use or misuse of drinking water. Nattu said you are allowed to get water to a certain limit which is prescribed but not like to misuse it. Nattu says that, so many people has to pay money and purchase water because of we people. Ramu replied that drinking water is actually supplied very dirty and full of mud which is not worth drinking so I am using it for other purpose daily. In the mean while another neighbor who's water is not been lifted complaints and says. Here are we people who make the water dirty by cutting the pipes and tapping it for our own wish.
The concerned operator is plugging it and few violators are doing this. As a result that the water pressure becomes slow and the accumulation of water round the damage side of supply pipe and it is safe for animals, dogs to pollute it and then rabies and diseases prone water flow in taps. Ramu started thinking that how our family members are falling sick. Sonu further said that we are paying heavy price for medicine and fees of doctor. In fact we must pledge now onwards that we will not misuse drinking water and they are also decided that concerned way may keep strict vision to check in catching misusers and wastage may be controlled by consumers voluntarily for the sake of social cause. The main actors perform-aned were Rampaul (writer and coordinator of Lwws) Naveen pal "Director", Sunil Sharma, Sonu, Santosh Bastora.
