Jammu, Jan10 : Students from YCET, Jammu participated in the National Conference and Exhibition on Emerging and Innovative Trends in Engineering Technology. Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, IAS, Financial Commissioner, Industries and Commerce Department, J&K Govt. was the chief guest on the occasion.
The event was marked by the vibrant presence of experts in the field of Science & Technology, erudite scholars from the academic galaxy, technocrats and leading lights from industries like IRCON, Konkan Railways, TATA TISCON, POWER GRID, NHPC, PGCIL, JKPCC and the like. The students attended a technological sessions conducted by seasoned industry professionals like G B Nagendra, Chief Engineer (Projects), Konkan Railways; Sanjeev Dubey, TATA TISCON and gained deep insights into the emerging trends, innovation and cutting edge technologies in 21st Century.
Engineering students from Mechanical, Electrical, Civil and CS & IT branches displayed inquisitiveness and scientific understanding of the projects exhibited on the occasion. Prof Rajnish Magotra Engineering, HOD Civil and A.K.Kaul, HOD T&P, YCET were present on the occasion.
