| PFCW criticizes Govt for failure to highlights child policy drafted in 2010 | | | Jammu, Jan 10 : Progressive Forum for Children Welfare (PFCW) chief patron Deep Singh today said that Jammu and Kashmir government has failed to disclose its child policy drafted in 2010. According to press release, Singh further said that such an irresponsible attitude of state social welfare ministry was certainly condemnable and shows its height of non seriousness.
Though it is delayed but even then we are highly grateful to Rather for taking notice of our protest organized on November 14, 2013at Jammu press club, and expressed by Sunita Bhat the general secretary of the forum. It is quite shocking on the part of our political parties those also failed to incorporate even a single word related to children welfare in their election manifestos despite our demand highlighted during children protest on Novemeber 14.
They appeal honorable Governor of the state to take all possible steps for boosting the vital cause of children welfare in the state with the help of its sincere officials and cooperation of visionary lot of civil society, Forum expressed.
We shall also appeal to honorable Governor for taking lead towards this noble and sensitive cause.
