EJAC hails Governor’s rule in state

Jammu, Jan 10: EJAC has welcomed the Governor Rule in the State, as the Previous Coalition Government NC and Congress have cheated the 4.5 lakh of Govt Employees to not fulfill the agreement.
According press release, joint meeting of J&K Government Employees Joint Action Committee held at Jammu under the presidium of S. Amrik Singh, Ganesh Khajuria and S Balwinder Singh, S Dharminder Singh Bhargav, Ravi Singh Bahu, Ravinder Singh, Jagdish Raj Sharma, Senior leaders of EJAC.
The EJAC said that the previous Coalition Government NC and Congress have cheated the 4.5 lakh of Govt Employees to not fulfill the agreement which have been dully signed by the Cabinet Sub Committee and J C C Leaders on 15-09-2011, resulted which the Employees have shown their power to rooted out the coalition Govt.
In the meeting Leaders of EJAC urged upon the Governer of the State to kindly look in to the genuine demands of the employees and release the 2 DA installment @ 10% & 7% (17%) which is due w e f January 2014 and July 2014 respectively as the current Financial Year is going to be over, besides the following demands.
"Regularization of all Casual Labour, DRW, Contractual, Seasonal Labour and Consolidated who were engaged before & after 1994 in different Deptts.and are continue working, Removal of Pay disparity in pre revised Pay Scale 6500-200-10500 and Clerical Staff, Additional Budgetry support to such PSU who have not their own resources, Enhancement of Medical Allowance, from Rs. 300 to Rs.1000", the EJAC leaders demanded.
